![]() ![]() A good habit to have is to check your pockets in-game before you plug it into your Power Save. If anything is in those first five pocket slots when you spawn an item, that thing will be replaced by whatever you spawned. For example, the first pocket is for furniture, handhelds, flowers, and fossils. Second of all, you can only spawn a certain type of item into each pocket. First of all, you can only spawn items into the first five pockets of your Mayor character. ![]() With regards to spawning items, the Power Save works in a strange way. Note: Although there is a date in every name of the saves in the examples above, these correspond to the date in-game and are not added in by the Power Save. Again, wait for everything to finish and for the screen to return to how it is above. ![]() To restore a back-up, select the save and then select “restore” (you can also delete and rename the file from there): Wait until the screen returns to how it was previously before taking any further actions. You’ll then have to type a name for the back-up and then find yourself on a screen like this:ĭo not remove the cartridge whilst it is being processed. To save a back-up, just click the back-up button on the bottom of the page: Saving and Restoring Back-upsīack-ups, as already stated, are in the first tab (“PC/Cartridge”). The “Codes” tab however is where you can spawn extras into your game. The “Powersaves” tab doesn’t do anything, so you can ignore it. The software is ready to use when the tabs look like this: Generally speaking, the more saves you have the more time it’ll take to load. While the loading signs are still showing on the “Powersaves” and “Codes” tabs, you cannot use any of the softwares functions. ![]() There will also be three tabs at the top: Navigating the Power Save softwareĪfter the initial set-up of putting in your product code and a valid email address, you can insert your game into the adaptor (you only need to do this once). When you first plug in your game, the first screen you’ll see will have all the saves you’ve already made. Please note that using a Power Save requires internet access throughout the entire process. I’ll go through the functions the power save allows and to to save villagers for adoptions.
